Travel Appointment

We can together discuss the next steps and make a plan that includes:

Necessary vaccines

Some airlines and destinations require specific vaccines given at least 30 days prior to travel.

Blood titers

These blood serum tests are required by some countries to confirm a negative rabies status. These results can take as long as 2-3 months, so do not wait to make your appointment.

Microchipping

Specialized microchips—called International Standards Organization (ISO) microchips—are mandatory for international travel, and are used to ensure the imported pet matches their vaccination history and health paperwork. We can scan your pet’s current microchip to determine ISO compliance, or implant an appropriate microchip if needed.

Paperwork

We can assist with collecting and completing any required paperwork, acquiring health certificates, and understanding the regulations for your transportation method and destination.

Acclimating your pet

If your pet hasn’t traveled before, we can provide tips and training strategies to minimize any stress or anxiety.
