Our dedicated surgical suites ensure the highest level of cleanliness and sterility, minimizing risk of surgical infections or complications. Each room is outfitted with a specially-designed surgery table, adjustable overhead lighting, patient warming equipment, diagnostic monitors, intravenous fluid pumps, and anesthesia machines.

Before your pet’s procedure, we ensure they are healthy enough for anesthesia with a complete exam and lab work.

Pets receive pre-anesthetic medications that include sedation and pain control. This reduces the amount of anesthetic needed during the procedure, and provides holistic comfort and relaxation for the pet throughout surgery.

Your pet’s vital signs (e.g., heart and respiratory rate, temperature, and blood oxygen levels) are continuously monitored for safety.

A veterinary technician manually assesses your pet’s vitals and records them in the chart every five minutes, and can alert the veterinarian of any change or trend.

Gentle dissection and tissue handling reduces complications and speeds recovery. Our highly-trained veterinarians are committed to delivering the highest level of surgical excellence, so your pet experiences minimal discomfort and recovers as quickly as possible.

Pain not only hurts, but can impair healing and create chronic issues. Our anesthetic protocols are tailored to your pet’s procedure, including their anticipated discomfort. In addition to administering preoperative pain medication, we will assess your pet’s pain level throughout their surgery and recovery.

When you pick up your pet, you’ll meet with the veterinary team members in charge of your pet’s procedure. We’ll review the surgery and provide you with specific discharge instructions, to ensure you feel comfortable caring for your pet at home.

If the veterinarian needs to evaluate your pet’s healing, or we need to remove any sutures or staples, we will schedule your pet’s follow-up appointment when you pick them up. All post-operative visits are included in the surgery cost.
